My name is Richard van der Wurff and I am from the Netherlands.
Welcome to my blog about the Zodiac Killer, a case that has gripped the world for decades. More than 55 years after his first letter, the Zodiac Killer is still the subject of investigation, discussion and public fascination. He killed at least five people, claimed 37, but was never identified. Which makes this case one of the most persistent cold cases in modern history.
The Z13 cipher (also known as the “My name is” cipher) was sent by the Zodiac Killer on April 20, 1970. He sent it in an envelope to the San Francisco Chronicle, a prominent newspaper in California. Since then, the Z13 has been one of the most intriguing and unsolved mysteries in crime history. A tremendous amount has been written about this notorious serial killer, but there is also much that remains unknown. All in all, I could no doubt write a book about it, but in this blog I will focus mainly on my own discovery: namely, I believe I have solved the Zodiac Z13 cipher. My theory is too important and promising to go unnoticed. So I hope this blog gets the attention it deserves. A lot of new information has already emerged recently, and I know that even more information is going to be brought out in the near future. We are closer to solving the Zodiac case than ever before.
